Women's Health : Services : Chronic Pelvic Pain Program

Using the latest techniques developed by our Nationally acclaimed faculty, we evaluate the individual patient’s needs and symptoms to achieve the best quality of life for our patients.

Experts in Gynecologic Causes of Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP) – including the number one cause of CPP, Endometriosis, we deliver the latest, state-of-the-art non surgical and minimally invasive methods designed to help the patient to be part of the decision and treatment plans.

Women & Chronic Pelvic Pain

At Least 5.5 Million Women in North America have Endometriosis. The most common symptoms are pain and infertility.

We strive to preserve our patient’s fertility, giving the patient the Best possible quality of life while finding the cause of her pain. Many patients benefit from our ability to interact with multiple specialties including our Pain clinic.

We are proud of our organized approach to pursue the Non-gynecologic causes of CPP which many less experienced physicians in Gynecology and other specialties fail to find. Other causes of CPP include Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Interstitial Cystitis, and Musculoskeletal causes including Abdominal Neuromas and Hernias which we are experts in evaluating. Being attentive to our patient’s needs is our strength. We also recognize that Abuse may be a cause of Chronic Pelvic Pain which many physicians are uncomfortable discussing.

We have been recognized as the Best Doctors in America in working with the patient not just as patient with pelvic pain but as a complete individual and worthy partner to deliver the best health care possible.

Dr. James Carter heads up our team of physicians dedicated to the diagnosis of control of Chronic Pelvic Pain. He has authored many articles on the management of gynecologic and non-gynecologic causes of chronic pelvic pain. He is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and as such stays on the cutting edge of new procedures in the management of Chronic Pelvic Pain.
