Grand Rounds

Academic Afternoons

Once a week, usually a TuesdayPrimary care conference for 1st years over lunch while on Medicine rotations

Journal Club

Once a month, usually the fourth Monday, affiliates of the Medical University of South Carolina Obstetrics and Gynecology Department enjoy dinner at one of Charleston’s restaurants. Residents, faculty, and other local doctors are invited for an evening of scientific discussion on a particular journal article.

40th Annual Ob/Gyn Spring Symposium
Doubletree Guest Suites
March 22nd - March 25th, 2009

The department has sponsored the annual symposium for forty years. The three-day conference includes distinguished guest faculty with international recognition in assisted reproductive technologies, gynecological issues in women’s health and care of the postmenopausal woman. Together with an outstanding host faculty they present scientific background and experience relevant for the clinical practice of a variety of gynecologists and women’s health providers. CME credit.
