Research: Racial Disparities in Cervical Insufficiency and Cerclage Failure
The objective of this study is to compare the timing and the frequency of Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM) and PTB following cerclage placement among African-American and Caucasian women.  The research focuses on identifying demographic differences, maternal cytokine response, and anatomic features of the cerclage placement that maybe associated with adverse outcomes.

Research: Relationship Between Antenatal Ultrasound Parameters Suggestive of IUGR and Neonatal Body Mass Composition
This research will follow fetuses with various biometric, vascular, and biophysical findings suggestive of intrauterine growth  restriction and evaluate their corresponding neonatal measures, outcomes and body mass compositions using air displacement plethysmography.

Research: The Effect of Maternal Exposure to Environmental Toxins and Fetal Genital Development
This research will evaluate the association between fetal penile development in male fetuses and maternal exposure to Bio phenol A and phthalates which are now endocrine disrupting compounds highly prevalent in the environment.
