Weight Loss Surgery Follow-Up

Weight loss surgery is only a tool to help you to lose weight. You need ongoing support and lifetime follow-up with your surgery team to maximize your success.

Here at MUSC, we use an interdisciplinary approach to guide your diet and lifestyle choices as you embark on your new life after Bariatric surgery. Our podcast series provides you with information and tips from members of our team: Medical Director and surgeon, Dr. T. Karl Byrne; Physician Assistant, Diana Axiotis, and; Registered Dietitians, Debbie Petitpain and Nina Crowley. 

To subscribe to our podcast series, you simply need to indicate your date of surgery, your surgery type and provide us with an email address.  We will email you a pertinent podcast at the significant post operative time point, including the anniversary of your surgery.
