Free Monthly Bariatric Surgery Seminars
If you are interested in learning more about our program, please register to attend our free monthly seminar about weight loss surgery. This one-hour seminar is held at MUSC on the first Tuesday of each month, and provides attendees with the chance to meet our bariatric surgeons and support team, learn about the procedures we perform, ask questions about risks and benefits of surgery and begin the process of qualifying for surgery. Anyone interested in pursuing bariatric surgery at MUSC must first attend this seminar.
Free Informational Open House at MUSC
If you are interested in learning more about our program, please register to attend our free monthly open house. This event consists of a one-hour seminar held at MUSC at 4 pm on the third Tuesday of each month, and provides attendees with the chance to meet our bariatric surgeons and support team, learn about the procedures we perform, ask questions about risks and benefits of surgery and begin the process of qualifying for surgery. Anyone interested in pursuing bariatric surgery at MUSC must first attend this open house. it's not possible to attend in person, you may watch an online version of the seminar (see below). All attendees are invited to stay for our free Bariatric Surgery Support Group (5:30 - 7 pm) after the open house concludes.

You will then have the opportunity to print a packet of information to start your evaluation process for bariatric surgery. If you'd prefer, we can print the packet for you and mail it to you.
