Mandatory Nutrition Class

This class MUST be attended PRIOR TO BARIATRIC/WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY. We recommend you wait until you have a bariatric surgery date scheduled before you come to class. Please bring a support person with you to class. You may come to class as many times as you like.

If you are having roux-en-y gastric bypass (performed open or laparoscopic), class is offered on the first and third TUESDAY of each month:	2008 Schedule April 1 and 15 May 6 and 20 June 3 and 17 July 1 and 15 August 5 and 19 September 2 and 16 October 7 and 21 November 4 and 18 December 2 and 16
If you are having laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (“banding”), class is offered the second TUESDAY of each month:	2008 Schedule April 8 May 13 June 10 July 8 August 12 September 9 October 14 November 11 December 9

For ALL classes
Time:	12:30 PM - 2:30 PM (Gastric Bypass) 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (Banding)
Location:	1st Floor Auditorium (room 1119) of the Ashley River Tower (ART) located at 25 Courtenay Drive
Parking:	You may park in the Courtenay Garage or another MUSC visitor lot and we will validate your parking.
You do not need to reserve a spot for the class. We’ll see you there! Call 876-4867 if you have any questions.
