Bariatric (Weight Loss) Surgery Center of Excellence at MUSC : Support Programs : Bariatric Bootcamp

Who & What:

All post-op gastric bypass or gastric sleeve patients who interested in learning more about good nutrition to maximize weight loss after surgery.

CHECK BACK FOR 2012 DATES.

Spouses or supporters are welcome but must also register and pay the fee.

We will focus our discussions on:
-A review of your new anatomy after weight loss surgery
-Tips on how to maximize the mechanics of your weight loss surgery
-Review of the food groups, including hands-on measuring of appropriate portions, taste-testing and cooking tips
-Products we love, Grocery shopping, and eating out
-Exercise goals and realistic expectations
-Tools for monitoring long-term success

Where:1st Floor Auditorium, room 1119, of the Ashley River Tower (ART) located at 25 Courtenay Drive.
Parking:You may park in the Courtenay Garage or another MUSC visitor lot & we will validate your parking. With a validated ticket, you pay $0.75/half hour with a $3 maximum.
