Local Football Coach Loses 300 Pounds After Weight Loss Surgery

Hemingway football coach Clay Owens weighed 660 pounds and was told by his doctors that he needed to lose weight or he would die. His insurance would not cover the surgery, so the community rallied together and raised $40,000 for him to have gastric bypass at MUSC. A year after surgery, he talks about how his much his life and health have changed, and his goals for the future.
