HeartMate II Saving Lives at MUSC
Patrick Spatola has suffered five heart attacks since he turned 35. Now, with the help of the HeartMate II Left-Ventricular Assist Device, he is able to leave the hospital and live a more normal life while he awaits a heart transplant. Video provided by Channel 5 News.
