THE DEPARTMENT OF UROLOGY ACCEPTS APPLICATONS ONLY THROUGH ERAS (ELECTRONIC RESIDENCY APPLICATION SYSTEM) Applications will be accepted through ERAS up to the closing date of the NRNP. However, because of the heavy volume of applications received, it is in the applicant's best interest to have applications, Dean's Letter and all appropriate support materials to the Medical University of South Carolina's Department of Urology by the first week of November. Interviews are scheduled on Mondays and Fridays only, with the exception of holidays, beginning the 2nd week of November and ending January 31. Consideration will be given to couples who want to do residencies at the Medical University in either the same or different programs. Application Procedure for Foreign Medical Graduates
Foreign medical graduates are considered to be any graduate of a foreign medical school, including an American citizen whose medical degree is from a college outside the United States or Canada. These graduates are required to do postgraduate medical training in a United States training program before they can become either board certified or licensed physicians in this country. Foreign medical graduates must provide other materials in support of their applications in addition to the materials for graduates of American or Canadian medical schools. Requirements
