Malaria Prevention

 Chloroquine: medication used to prevent Malaria. Drug has become widely resistant in most parts of S. America, Asia and Africa

 Doxycycline: drug used for prevention of malaria in chloroquine resistant areas

 Malarone: A drug used for malaria prevention in short-term travelers going to chloroquine resistant areas

 Mefloquine: Drug of choice to prevent Malaria in most parts of S. America, Africa, and Asia. May also be used to treat Malaria

Anti-Diahrreal Drugs

 Ciprofloxacin: This drug is commonly used to treat diarrhea caused by bacteria

 Imodium AD: An over-the-counter medication often taken to stop mild diarrhea
