MUSC’s Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant program is the only one in South Carolina. MUSC Children's Hospital provides specialized care for pediatric patients. In 1990, we performed the first pediatric bone marrow transplant, and we are certified by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).
