Stephanie McGowan, MSPT, MTC

Stephanie McGowan

McGowan graduated from the University of South Florida in 2001 with a master's degree in physical therapy (MSPT). She then received certification in manual therapy (MTC) through coursework at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is currently pursuing an advanced doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

McGowan is currently an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Stephanie's physical therapy treatment interests include a variety of sports that she has pursued during her lifetime, such as long distance running, lacrosse, field hockey and dance. She is also a group fitness instructor and spinning instructor at several local fitness clubs in Charleston with more than 15 years of teaching experience. She has a special interest in problems involving the spine, foot, ankle and knee.
