| The MUSC Sports Medicine Center is a multi-disciplinary endeavor, which provides comprehensive diagnostic treatment and rehabilitative services to athletes throughout the Charleston area. This is a collaborative effort involving physicians and surgeons in multiple specialties as well as services such as physical therapy, certified athletic training, sports nutrition, sports neurology, sports psychology, strength and conditioning training, and injury prevention programs. The program provides evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation to athletes from the recreational to the professional level and offers coverage for athletes of all ages, from pediatric and adolescent athletes to the adult “weekend warrior”. |
