Mobile Crisis Unit (Charleston/Dorchester County only) - 843-414-2350
Crisis intervention, assessment, treatment, and referral for anyone experiencing psychiatric  emergencies or at risk for suicide. Crisis will respond with police if weapon involved.

General counseling and crisis intervention (on any issue) over the telephone with trained volunteers.  24/7. Can dial 211.

Survivors of Suicide - 843-747-3007
Support group for those who have lost someone they love to suicide.  Meetings are from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 
Heartland, 1137 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., West Ashley. 

National Suicide Hotline (24/7) - 1-800-784-2433

Crisis Stabilization Center - 843-958-3530
Admission by referral from Mental Health or emergency room.  Early crisis intervention for non-violent psychiatric patients age 18 and older.  No one in withdrawal.  10 bed residential facility with a 6 person day treatment program.  Voluntary admission only.
