Exchange Club Parent/Child Resource Center - 843-747-1339
Provides home-based services to at-risk families. Parent education/parent support. Offers classes to help parents develop effective parenting skills. Cost is $70 for six weeks.
PANDA (Parent Aides Nurturing & Developing adolescents) – Designed to educate and support first-time teen parents (under the age of 16). So that by the age of 18, the teen parent can live independently and have skills to provide a healthy home environment.
Teen Parenting Classes - Teaches parents to guide their teen to be responsible, cooperative, and independent.  Addresses sex, drugs, violence, eating habits, grades, and friends.

PACT- Parents and Children Together - 843-769-5799
Education, parent training, and support for parents of children ages 6-12 months and 12-36 months.  Scholarships available.  Classes meet once a week for ten weeks in seven different locations in the Tri-county area.

Moms Club of Charleston - - 843-762-6059
A support group for at home mothers. Meeting times and location change. Call Susan Messervy at above number for information.

Father to Father Project - 843-744-2126
A group for fathers wanting a closer and more meaningful relationship with their children. Offers free legal information, counseling, parenting skills training, and spiritual education.

Parents Anonymous - 843-747-0480 or 1-800-326-8621
A self-help group for parents dealing with their thoughts and actions about their children. Confidential.

Changing Families - 843-244-1781
Counseling, support groups, and parenting classes.  Individual group and family counseling regarding divorce recovery, single parent issues, parenting difficulties, step parent challenges, and help for troubled marriages.

Behavioral health counseling including group, family, and individual.  Programs include:

Criminal Domestic Violence Counseling and Support Group
Family Mediation Services
Family Violence Intervention Program

Helps locate missing and abducted children 17 years and under.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children - 1-800-843-5678
To report a sighting of a missing child, to report a missing or sexually exploited child.  Education, increase public awareness.
