Offers free breast exams, mammograms and Pap tests for women 47 to 64 years of age.
  
Look Good Feel Better Program - 843-744-1922
Helps women undergoing cancer treatment to learn to cope with appearance-related side effects and to regain a sense of self-confidence and control over their lives.

Reach to Recovery - 843-744-1922
Visitation program for breast cancer patients immediately following surgery. Will also visit
patients at home. Peer support program.

Second Chance - 843-744-1922
A support group for women to discuss the aspects of surviving or living with cancer.

Breast Cancer Support Group - 843-724-2794
Roper Hospital, Conference Room #1.  Last Monday of the month, 5:30 to 6:30 PM
An opportunity for women to share feelings, information, and experiences associated with breast cancer. (Note - MUSC is not holding a breast cancer support group at this time)

Ostomy Support Group (American Cancer Society) - 843-744-1922
Support group for people who have had, or are having a colostomy, urostomy or ileostomy. Call for meeting times and locations.  Call for more information. 

Us Too-Prostate Cancer Support Group - 843-766-9360
Support group for men with prostate cancer. Family involvement encouraged.  For information call Bob and Millie Strobel at above #, or Reuben and Cathy Martin at 556-1758.

National Cancer Institute - 1-800-422-6237 (4CANCER)
Cancer information specialists (not MD’s) provide information about cancer to the lay person and the professional.

Happy Days and Special Times - 843-571-4336
A non-profit, non-medical organization designed to meet the emotional and financial needs of children with cancer and their families.  Events include a summer camp, holiday parties, annual teen trips and parent getaways. Call for more information.

Hope Lodge - 843-958-0930
A rooming facility that houses cancer patients as they undergo cancer treatment. 269 Calhoun Street. Must be ambulatory and have a caregiver.
