Pediatric Radiology

Pediatric patients require special attention, especially when it comes to radiology. The pediatric radiologists and radiologist assistant at MUSC are specially trained in pediatric imaging to minimize radiation exposure and care for young patients and their families who may need extra comfort. We offer a wide range of services in support of MUSC Children’s Hospital and community physicians including:

• X-ray
• Ultrasound (US)
• Fluoroscopy
• Computed Tomography (CT) 
• PET/CT
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)             
• Image guidance for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

Our child-friendly facilities are designed to make our patients’ experience in radiology as comfortable as possible. From the smallest newborn to the elite athlete, our faculty and staff are trained to care for all pediatric patients.
