Radiation Oncology : Patients & Visitors : Our Team

The Radiation Oncologist is a doctor who has had special training in using radiation to treat disease. He/She will prescribe the type of treatment that best suits your needs.

The Radiation Physicist makes sure that the equipment is working properly and ensures that the machines deliver the right dose of radiation. They also supervise treatment planning and special procedure.

The Dosimetrist helps carry out your treatment plan by calculating the number of treatments and the radiation dose for each treatment.

The Radiation Therapists are those who actually deliver the treatment.

The Nurse will provide nursing care and patient/family education on treatment and side effects.
