How Do We Measure Clinical Quality?

Clinical quality measures are based on specific evidence-based practices that have been shown to give the best results to the most people. The categories listed below have been selected because they are common diagnoses that affect a large number of patients.  Hospitals all across the U.S. measure and report their performance quality in these clinical areas.

All data is updated on a quarterly basis and compares MUSC to the national average, the state average, as well as to hospitals that are ranked in the top 10% in the country.
