What is an Occupational Therapist?
Occupational Therapists are health care providers skilled in the treatment of functional losses caused by neurological, cognitive, developmental or physical impairments.  They develop an individual treatment course to improve physical or cognitive function and designed to achieve independence in all aspects of daily living.

Who Can Benefit from Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapists work with patients across their lifespan.  Infants, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly can all have health care needs that will benefit from Occupational Therapy. People that may benefit from occupational therapy include those who suffer from:
