The MUSC Departments of Occupational and Physical Therapy are dedicated to providing patients the highest quality of care in their recovery from injury or illness and in promoting healthy living for our community.  We strive to meet the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of our patients and their caregivers while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Our therapists are highly trained and specialized healthcare providers who treat a variety of individuals with physical, cognitive or developmental challenges that interfere with daily living.  Our therapists’ main goal is to guide the individual rehabilitation process to return our patients to the highest possible level of functional performance in the activities of daily living.
