Carbohydrate Deficient Transferrin (%dCDT) is a bio-marker for heavy alcohol consumption. %dCDT, a heavy alcohol usage test, allows for the monitoring of alcohol consumption over an extended period of time. The Clinical Neurobiology Laboratory (CNL) participated in the FDA certification of the original Bio-Rad %CDT TIA and has recently (Jan. 2009) switched to an HPLC/spectrophotometric %dCDT assay recommended by the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry workgroup on CDT of which Dr. Anton is a member. The CNL has processed and run close to fifteen thousand %CDT samples for clinical and contractual work. %dCDT Frequently Asked Questions Guideline On The Clinical Use of %dCDT Physician and Counselor Experiences With %CDT %dCDT Case Examples %CDT and %dCDT Articles %dCDT In The Press Certifications Carbohydrate Deficient Transferrin (%dCDT) Requisition (For use when referring samples to CNL) Clinical Neurobiology Laboratory 67 President St. PH144 Charleston, SC 29425 Ph.
