From discussions about life issues to intensive treatment for complex problems, the Institute of Psychiatry provides care for the full range of psychiatric problems affecting adults. When facing difficulties, it’s important for individuals to be able to maintain the most normal day-to-day life possible. For that reason, outpatient services are available. These include medicine management and individual, group and family therapies.
For help with more complex problems, the adult inpatient program provides short-term stabilization for adults who are in crisis. The inpatient setting provides evaluation, medical management, behavioral treatment, patient and family education and planning for care after discharge.
