| Conference Overview | The Day of Discovery program, hosted by the MUSC Institute of Psychiatry, is a one-day conference held to inform those in the medical and mental health professions about new advances in the field of psychiatry. This Day of Discovery program will provide attendees with an introduction to the attitudes, values, knowledge, and skills related to understanding, assessing, and treating co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. Attention will be given to basic, intermediate, and advanced levels of proficiency in these areas, with the goal of assisting providers at all skill levels enhance their ability to treat individuals who have co-occurring disorders.
