The Neuro-oncology Program is multi-faceted, addressing the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant brain, spinal cord and pituitary tumors; skull base lesions and aneurysms. The program has an expert team, and as a result, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center has achieved regional recognition for leading edge patient care and research. Since its founding in 1993, the program has evolved and now includes the Brain Tumor Program, Brain Tumor Clinic, Skull Base Surgery Program, Pituitary Clinic and neuro-oncology research. This high degree of specialization allows physicians a unique opportunity for collaboration, treatment planning and second opinions.
