Carrie AllenCarrie Allen
Carrie received her BA in Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University.  After graduation, Carrie was responsible for new business generation at MARC advertising agency in Pittsburgh, PA. There, she earned the nickname “Sparky” for sparking so many new client relationships.  With fifteen years of customer relationship sales and management experience, Carrie came to MUSC from Spartanburg Regional Hospital, where she had also been a physician liaison.  In two years, Carrie generated 3,251 new patient encounters for that hospital system.  As a liaison for MUSC, Carrie is responsible for the coastal South Carolina counties north of Charleston, as well as Florence and other northeastern counties of South Carolina.

Julie BushJulie Bush, RN, BSN
Julie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wayne State University.  She began her career in medical surgical and critical care nursing and later was appointed Manager of Training and Education in a community teaching hospital.  In this role, she coordinated the orientation of new nurses, continuing education courses, and community and patient education programs.  Julie then accepted a position as Program Director for a health and wellness program with Oakwood Health System in Dearborn, Michigan.  Later in her career, she assumed the role of Physician Relations Coordinator for a hospital in the Henry Ford Health System.  This role involved physician recruitment and referral relations activities.  She is currently a Physician Liaison in Business Development and Marketing Communications, where she is responsible for referral relations activities in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties.

Lindsey BennettLindsey Bennett
Lindsey received her BA in Political Science from University of South Carolina. Throughout high school and college she worked for an orthopedic practice performing duties including medical records, insurance filing and medical coding work. After college, Lindsey accepted a position at Lexington Medical Center as Supervisor of Patient Financial Services where she gained experience in cash posting, financial audit, and customer service.  With her focus being on customer service, in one year Lindsey was promoted to Manager of Customer Service for the main hospital, 2 urgent care systems and 6 community medical centers. In this role, she focused on providing patients with excellent customer service and service recovery through her call center management and one on one physician, administrative, and patient relations.  As a liaison for MUSC, Lindsey is responsible for the Midlands of South Carolina, including Richland and Lexington County and the upstate.

Nancy SpringsNancy Springs
Nancy attended MUSC College of Nursing and finished with a BSN. She has worked for MUSC for over 25 years totaled with her primary back ground in the pediatric area – Pediatric Ambulatory/Pediatric Maternal Infant Division, Pediatric Neurology and Transplant (Liver Transplant Coordinator). Nancy
has been with the Referral Relations Division of Marketing as a Physician Liaison since 1998.
