Transportation to MUSC Health's urgent and emergent services, such as Level I Trauma Center, Level III Neonatal ICU, Pediatric and Adult ICUs and specialized centers, is available through MUSC's MEDUCARE Medical Transport Service. Ambulance, helicopter or airplane transport is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meducare can help determine which mode of transportation and which team is most appropriate. MEDUCARE always contacts the referring facility to get transport information, and promptly notifies the MUSC Medical Center staff physician of transportation arrangements and estimated time of arrival.

Continuing Medical Education 843-876-1925 The office of Continuing Medical Education, in the College of Medicine, offers annual conferences, postgraduate seminars, updates, reviews and clinical preceptorships. The Medical University of South Carolina is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. Courses meet the standards for Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.

Physician Liaison staff meet with physicians and other health care providers around the state to keep them up to date on new faculty, services and equipment available at the medical center.
Health Connection Touch Tone Library, Parking and Directions 843-792-1414 Information on MUSC Health and its patient care services is available by phone through MUSC Health Connection's Touch Tone Library. Health topics of all kinds are included in the library's collection of more than 1,600 recorded messages. The system's prerecorded messages are available to callers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
