Linda Austin, M.D. hosts many of our MUSC Health Podcasts. These podcasts cover a wide range of current health topics, featuring MUSC patients, physicians and staff. Dr. Austin is a practicing psychiatrist in Charleston, South Carolina. A frequent lecturer, she is best known for her formerly nationally syndicated radio program, "What's On Your Mind?". She lives with her husband in Charleston. Her previous book, What's Holding You Back?: Eight Critical Choices for Women's Success, was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show and other national media. Recently she was honored by the National Library of Medicine as an influential woman leader in American medicine. Dr. Austin is the mother of two grown children. |
