Diagnostic Services

Our diagnostic services include:

  • Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
  • Comprehensive diagnostic radiology (V/Q, CT, MRI, angiography)
  • Comprehensive pulmonary function testing
  • Cardiac catheterization (with vasoreactivity and exercise testing)
  • Polysomnography
  • Coordinated referrals to cardiology, rheumatology, infectious disease, hepatology, and/or hematology

Pulmonary Hypertension Conditions

Please consider our diagnostic and management services for any of the following pulmonary hypertension conditions:

  • Idiopathic (primary) pulmonary arterial hypertension
  • Pulmonary hypertension associated with systemic disease
       •  Collagen vascular (rheumatologic) disease
       •  Portal hypertension/chronic liver disease
       •  HIV infection
       •  Hemoglobinopathies/ sickle cell anemia
       •  Sarcoidosis
  • Congenital systemic to pulmonary shunts
  • Pulmonary hypertension associated with drugs and toxins
  • Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease

  • Associated with hypoxemia
       •  Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/ emphysema
