Forms of Payment

For your convenience, MUSC accepts multiple forms of payment for your hospital bill, including:

• Personal checks (payable to MUSC)
• Money orders
• Visa
• MasterCard
• Discover
• American Express
• Cash

Payment in full is expected by the due date on the statement you receive. 

Pay by Mail

Payment can be made by sending check, money order or credit card information to the following address.  Do not mail cash.

Pay in Person/With Cash

To pay with cash in person, visit the Hospital Patient Accounting office on the first floor of Cannon Place:

Walk-in hours are from 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Payment Online

Pay your MUSC Medical Center bill online.

Insurance Billing

MUSC will bill your primary and secondary health care plan on your behalf. However, you are ultimately responsible for the services provided.  You may be billed if your healthcare plan does not process in a timely manner.  Further follow up with your insurance will be your responsibility.

Financial Assistance
If you do not have insurance and can not afford to pay your bill all at once, MUSC will work with you to set up a payment plan.  Please call us at 843-792-2311 or 1-888-897-0890, or learn more about financial assistance with your bill.
