Dr. Amlicke received his B.A. degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed fellowships in Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Riley Children’s Hospital at Indiana University Medical Center and at the Alfred I. DuPont Institute. He also completed a mini fellowship at the Hughston Orthopaedic Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Amlicke is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive military experience as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force and School of Aviation Medicine. He was awarded an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain. Dr. Amlicke joined the faculty of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006.
