Available Clinical Dietitian Position: Clinical Dietitian (CD2) - Diabetes:
Clinical Diabetes Dietitian provides adult inpatient and outpatient diabetes patient services. Responsibilities include:
- Provide the diabetes clinical expertise including ongoing
performance improvement/quality projects and leadership to
ensure optimal diabetes patient care. - Participate as an active member on the hospital Diabetes
Management Services Team, serve as the liaison to
nutrition services, ensure that the department policies meet
TJC standards. - Lead food service initiatives that will maximize blood sugar
control in diabetic patients, including but not limited to,
inpatient meal analysis, menu building, conducting hospital
inservices and monitoring tray accuracy. Qualifications Include:
Minimum of 2-4 years experience in clinical nutrition, Certified Diabetes Educator (preferred). Must be licensed or licensed eligible in SC. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. The clinical staff consists of 25 registered dietitian positions. These clinical services are contracted through Sodexo management services.
