The CNSD credential identifies clinicians as qualified nutrition support providers. Four (4) MUSC/ Sodexo Registered Dietitians successfully completed this new credential in May. Learn More Cafeteria Undergoes RenovationStarting in May, the MUSC University Hospital cafeteria began undergoing a multi-phased renovation project. The renovation plans feature a new cafeteria entrance, expansion of cooking stations, new doctors' dining room and main dining area seating. The project is projected to take four (4) months.

Learn More “Fat Tax” to Help Fight Childhood ObesityThe MUSC STOP Lite Vending program is being piloted in the vending machines at the entrance to the MUSC cafeteria. Red, Yellow, and Green labels help the consumer know which snacks to avoid (red), which snacks to choose occasionally, and which snacks are healthier choices (green). A 5 cent surcharge has been added to the “red” labeled items which will be used to fund MUSC’s children’s obesity program Heart Health.
