June 17th marked the third annual Sodexo Employee Appreciation Day. This celebration focuses on frontline employees who go above and beyond to help patients, families, and caregivers get through difficult times in their lives.  MUSC Dietetic Service Department honored all of their employees with a carnival which was held outside in the MUSC horseshoe. Hamburgers and teriyaki chicken were grilled to perfection and were served along with delicious potato and fruit salad. Popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, and funnel cakes added a carnival flare.
The Bingo, ring toss, and “picking up ducks” games provided employees with the opportunity to win great prizes. To make the carnival complete, Maureen “the clown” made a featured appearance. A special “thank you” to all of the Dietetic Services employees who work diligently to ensure that patients and customers receive quality service each day! |
