
Sodexo Future Leadership Internship
In an effort to develop future food service leaders of tomorrow, the MUSC Dietetic Services department provides training experiences for participants of the Future Leadership Internship program. This ten week Sodexho Food Service Management internship program includes human resources, finances, food management, and other skills required for leadership success.
Currently, Lynndrell Washington is participating in the ten (10) week Sodexo Future Leaders Internship program at the Medical University of S.C. Lynndrell Washington is a local resident of Charleston, S.C. She attends the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida where she is majoring in Event Management.
In addition to her course work, Lynndrell seized the opportunity to study abroad in France for six (6) months. While in France, she learned about French history, wine, tourism and gastronomy.
Lynndrell believes that learning the “behind-the-scenes” food service operation will enhance her skills as an Event Planner. Lynndrell looks forward to graduating this summer with her B.S. degree in Event Management.
