MUSC/SODEXO DIETETIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The MUSC Dietetics Department, contracted through Sodexo, accomplished many goals during the past year.  One of the major accomplishments of the year was the renovation of the University Hospital (UH) cafeteria.  To view the entire list of 2010 accomplishments, visit 2010 Dietetic Services Accomplishments.

2010 CLINICAL DIETITIAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The  Sodexo clinical dietitian teams, at MUSC, have had a very successful 2010.   Their involvement in research, publications, and local, state, and national presentations demonstrates their leadership in the field of nutrition.  During the past year, the dietitians completed fifteen (15) publications, conducted twenty (20) presentations, which included the Sodexo Clinical Networking training programs, and developed several best practice guidelines (i.e., refeeding syndrome).  The clinical dietitians received nine (9) awards and nominations, and 80% of the inpatient adult and pediatric dietitians have advanced speciality certifications.
