Alcohol: Damaging Effects on the Liver and Blood Cells

Psychiatrist, Dr. Sarah Book, discusses the ill effect alcohol has on the liver and explains how the carbohydrate deficiency transferrin test can detect the irritation caused by alcohol in the liver. Dr. Book goes on to explain how alcohol causes problems with the development of blood cells and this often can affect the lining of the esophagus.
