Dr. Yusuf Hannun, professor of biochemistry and associate director of research at Hollings Cancer Center, discusses research opportunities for graduate students, post-doctoral candidates, and residents at MUSC. He provides a few examples of the large variety of research fields available to choose from, and also describes the Medical Scientist Training Program here at MUSC. Dr. Hannun also touches on some of the opportunities available to clinical residents and fellows who desire to spend extra time in the lab.
