Dr. Cindy Carter, a clinical psychologist who specializes in psycho-oncology, discusses the emerging body of cancer survivor research pointing to the importance of physical activity for quality of life after a cancer diagnosis. She also talks about the Dragon Boat Program at the Hollings Cancer Center, which provides a large Chinese Dragon Boat for cancer survivors to paddle as a fun activity and also in competition against other cancer survivor teams at festivals throughout North America.
