Radiation Treatment for Cancer in Children

In this cancer podcast, Radiation oncologist Dr. Joseph “Buddy” Jenrette, talks about the different types of cancers in children that can be treated with radiation, and how the radiation will affect the child. Dr. Jenrette explains that most radiation treatment is used for children older than 3 years of age and may be treated 5 days a week for 28-30 treatments while under general anesthesia.
