Mary Peters, a certified geriatric care manager and president of Care for Life, talks with Sally Smith about how companies have created a plan with Care for Life to offer assistance to employees that need help finding care for their aging parents. Care for Life, a geriatric care management agency, is working with the companies to reduce the stress and burden on employees by networking with geriatric care managers across the state. As an aging society, Ms. Peters explains the importance of companies maintaining a steady workforce by assisting the employees with information and contacts for their elderly family members.
