Pediatric Neurology: What is Pediatric Neurology?

Dr. Bernie Maria, a pediatric neurologist, explains that the role of a neurologist is caring for a child with neurological problems that can affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Dr. Maria talks about common types of problems a neurologist will see such as headaches, migraines, seizures, epilepsy, developmental problems, and autism and brain injuries. The most important part is the diagnosis and locating the problem within the nervous system.
