Living far apart from an elderly family member can be very difficult, but uprooting the person from their comfort zone isn’t always the best solution. Geriatric Care Manager, Mary Peters, talks with Sally Smith about how a geriatric care agency will go to the house, check on the person and assess whether the person needs assistance or needs to be moved. Ms. Peters also tells several anecdotes of handling situations when the family member lives in another city in this aging podcast.
