
Curtis Quattlebaum, MS, ATC
Curtis has been a member of the MUSC Sports Medicine Team since the fall of 2008. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he studied physical education and athletic training. He received a bachelor’s degree in physical education in December of 2001 from USC. He went on to be a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Mississippi State University from 2002-2004 covering football and women’s tennis. He received his Master’s degree in Health Education/Health Promotion in May 2004 from MSU.
Curtis is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and is licensed to practice athletic training in South Carolina by the Department of Health and Environmental Control. He has gained valuable experience at the college and professional level since his certification in 2002. Most notably, Curtis was as assistant athletic trainer for Furman University from July 2005 – July 2006. He was responsible for the athletic care of Men’s soccer and baseball while at Furman University.
Since joining our team, Curtis has had the opportunity to work with various high school, club level, and professional level sports. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MUSC while continuing to serve as a vital part of our sports medicine team.
