Scheduling will respond to the referring physician and mail the patient an information packet. Scheduling will only grant appointments using this procedure. Patients considering surgery for Parkinson's, tremor or other movement disorder must have a consultation prior to surgery. If you consider the patient a good candidate for surgery, you may wish to complete and fax the Expedited Consultation Form to (843) 792-1751. Patients eligible for clinical research studies or movement disorders surgery are often seen earlier in visits reserved in a separate schedule. Working with you
We are happy to help you care for your patient. Many patients need only one visit to clarify their situation or answer their questions. Many of our patients also live a considerable distance from the clinic. For these reasons, we are happy to provide their local physicians with guidance after the patient visit.
