Andrew S. Eiseman, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Eiseman is the Director of the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Eiseman is one of America’s Top Doctors and specializes in cosmetic rejuvenation, and eye and eyelid plastic surgery. Dr. Eiseman uses a number of reasonably priced procedures to help you look better from Botox and Juvedern to chemical peels and plastic surgery. He is a team player who works with dermatological surgeons when patients have skin cancers near their eyes or there is an ocular trauma that requires the services of different specialties. As both an ophthalmologist and a plastic surgeon, it is important to him that you not only look your best but also that you see well. Dr. Eiseman came to Magill Vision Center from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where he served as the Chief of the Ophthalmology Service, the Director of the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service and as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He has operated on thousands of our military men and women who have been injured during the line of duty and he is proud to have served to our country for over 20 years. Dr. Eiseman has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and abstracts as well as presented his research findings at national and international meetings. In his clinical research, his areas of interest include lacrimal drainage disorders and ocular trauma. He has received several awards including the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award and the Department of Defense “A” Designator for Academic Excellence. He was elected into the Washington Academy of Ophthalmology and the Order of Military Medical Merit. He is a Flight Surgeon and his military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Legion of Merit.
