LASIK
LASIK (Laser Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis) reshapes the cornea using a laser and restores the eye’s ability to focus properly, thus eliminating the need for corrective eyewear.

Magill Vision Center utilizes the WaveLight refractive technology to safely and effectively reshape your eyes in a two-step procedure to restore ideal vision. Many people notice almost immediate improvement and the ability to perform daily tasks without the aid of glasses or contacts.

LASIK may not be the answer for everyone. Individuals with dry eyes, thin corneas, advanced vision loss or other conditions may benefit from other vision correction options. The experts at Magill will consult with you about the best approach for you.

PRK
PRK or photorefractive keratectomy, also known as Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA), is a vision correction option for people with thin corneas. The procedure is similar to LASIK and also uses the Wavelight refractive technology, but without creating a flap.
