Nationally, the average cost for LASIK is between $1,900 and $2,400 per eye and is relative to the supplies, lasers and experience of the staff involved in your care. The cost of LASIK at Magill Vision Center is dependent on the type of procedure you choose and, since discounts are provided for most major insurance plans, the type of insurance you carry. Magill Vision Center's costs are very competitive for the Charleston area and are often less expensive than the national averages.

The fees at Magill Vision Center include an education session with the patient coordinator, a comprehensive preoperative exam, the surgery, and four scheduled visits during the 12 months following surgery. As a Magill Vision Center patient, you become a member of our team, having access to your surgeon at all times during your postoperative care.

As part of Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina, Magill Vision Center is dedicated to providing patients with the latest technology and most experienced surgeons with the highest degrees of training. Our philosophy is focused on patient care that does not compromise outcomes in exchange for lower fees.

Most patients budget the cost of their procedure either on their own, through their health savings plans at their place of employment or through convenient financing options. Magill Vision Center offers financing options, including 0% financing, to make your LASIK procedure more affordable than ever.

Your patient educator will review the financial portion of your treatment during your first appointment and can help answer any additional questions you may have.
