As the exclusive local sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, MUSC is committed to preventing and treating heart disease – the leading killer of women over the age of 25. Go Red for Women is a nationwide movement that encourages women to care for their hearts by leading healthy lives and knowing their risk factors for heart disease.
